Tickets

Tickets for the party are sold at the BHS Cafeteria in May. When a graduate purchases a ticket to this event they will be asked to read the rules (below) and abide by them.

Rules

This party is strictly for the Burlington High School, Class of 2011 graduates.  No guests are allowed.

Tickets will be sold for one week, at lunchtime, at BHS, in May.  Tickets are only $10 and include a t-shirt, a copy of the Retro Video, and a Memory Book.  Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.

This party is held at the BHS Cafeteria from June 5, 10:00PM – June 6, 5:00AM.

Graduates must arrive between 10:00PM – 11:00PM.  Doors close at 11:00.  Late arrivals are not permitted.

The night of the party, at 11PM, parents will be contacted if a graduate purchased a ticket, but does not attend the party.

If a graduate chooses to leave the party before 5AM, parents will be contacted.  Parent must give permission for their graduate to leave the party (a message is not sufficient).  It is at the parent’s discretion to arrange transportation in accordance with Massachusetts General Law.  Re-entry is not allowed.
 

Prize winners will be announced throughout the night; however prizes are awarded from 4:30 and 5AM.  Graduates must be present to claim their prize.  If a graduate chooses to leave the party before 5AM, they forfeit any claim to a prize.  Typically, more than 200 prizes are awarded.

Graduates should NOT bring: 
  • Money: All entertainment and activities are free. There is nothing to buy. 
  • Bottles: All food and beverages are free. 
  • Over-the-counter medicine: Nurses are available to provide Tylenol, allergy medicine, contact-lens solution, etc. Bags/Pocketbooks - All bags and pocketbooks will be searched, which slows down the entrance check-in.  Bathrooms will be stocked with deodorant, hairspray, mints, etc.

If a graduate brings prescription medicine, it will be held by the nurse on duty.

Use/possession of alcohol or drugs will not be tolerated.
Graduates must be aware that portions of the party will be videotaped, including the comedy-hypnotist show.  If selected to participate, footage may be aired on-line and on BCAT.  Graduates agree to participate at their own discretion and abide by all rules at all times.
